Under the generous patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Engineer Mohammed Shia'a Al-Sudani, and in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, and within the framework of the National Youth Development Initiative, the Al-Faf Organization for Development and Reconstruction implemented the "Towards the Plains" initiative in Babylon Governorate. This initiative aims to promote peaceful coexistence and strengthen cultural and social ties between the youth of the Kurdistan Region and the youth of the central and southern governorates of Iraq. The initiative included a visit by a delegation of youth from the Kurdistan Region to Babylon Governorate. The first stop on the visit was the Babylon Youth and Sports Directorate, where the delegation was received by Mr. Nael Talib Al-Sarhan, the director of the directorate, along with his deputy, staff, and other employees. They expressed their welcome for the initiative and emphasized its importance in strengthening communication between young people. The visit included a joint dialogue session between the youth of the Kurdistan Region and the youth of Babylon Governorate, during which they exchanged views, discussed common youth issues, and stressed the importance of dialogue and understanding in strengthening national unity.
