Jamal Ibrahim Kikani, Vice President of the Alfaf Organization for Development and Reconstruction, participated in a workshop on displacement, the return of displaced persons, and the challenges they face after displacement. The workshop was organized by Geneva Call and attended by representatives of civil society organizations and community figures concerned with this issue. During the workshop, the most prominent challenges still facing displaced persons were highlighted, particularly those related to return, social reintegration, and the provision of basic services. Discussions also focused on ways to enhance coordination between humanitarian organizations and relevant stakeholders to alleviate the suffering of displaced persons. At the conclusion of the workshop, the representative of the Al-Faf Organization for Development and Reconstruction expressed his gratitude to Geneva Call for organizing this valuable workshop, emphasizing the importance of continuing such meetings to support the issues of displaced persons and find realistic and sustainable solutions for them.
